Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 16th August, we have an exciting week ahead, including the start of third part of the Ultra Unlock and more!
Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space
After Trainers complete a total of 16 global challenges at Pokémon GO Fest, they’ll gain access to Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space. As Part 1: Time wraps up, we’ll set our eyes to its other dimensional counterpart: space! Space itself will be distorted as Pokémon from various places appear!
Part 2: Space will run from Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Palkia and Heracross will have their shiny forms released and both will feature in raids. Regional exclusives will spawn in the wild, in raids, and feature in eggs, including both forms of Basculin and Shellos, and Kangaskhan.
Ultra Unlock Part Three: Galar Region
Ultra Unlock Part Three: Galar Region will run from Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Pokémon originally discovered in the Galar region of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield would be making their Pokémon GO debuts! Zacian and Zamazenta in their Hero of Many Battles Forms will be released, alongside them, Skwovet, Greedent, Wooloo, Dubwool, and Falinks will be arriving in Pokémon GO.
If you’re lucky, you might even find a Shiny Galarian Meowth, a Shiny Galarian Farfetch’d, a Shiny Galarian Weezing, or a Shiny Galarian Stunfisk!
Master League, Master League Classic & Ultra League Premier Cup
The Master League, Master League Classic, and the Ultra League Premier Cup will run from Monday, August 9, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. to Monday, August 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). Battle during this time to receive twice the Stardust from win rewards and end-of-set rewards.
Shadow Ho-Oh
Starting 17th June 12am local time, a new GO Rocket Special Research called “A Seven-Colored Shadow” will be released. Trainers will be able to get a Super Rocket Radar and free Ho-Oh from Giovanni’s grasp. The Season of Discovery kicks off from June 1, 2021, and lasts until September 1, 2021. Tuesday 17th August 6pm till 7pm local time we have West Sea Shellos as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2x candy bonus for catching Pokémon. On Wednesday 18th August 6pm till 7pm local time we have Palkia Raid Hour. For more information on the best counters for Palkia check out our raid guide! From Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. to Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), you’ll encounter Chimecho in Research Breakthrough encounters. Double XP for Research Breakthroughs will also continue throughout this month as part of the Season of Discovery. Mega Ampharos will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The Legendary Pokémon Palkia will be appearing in five-star raids from Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Palkia!
The Legendary Pokémon Zacian will be appearing in raids from Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
