Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting May 13th! We are in the third and final month of the Season of World of Wonders and have an interesting week ahead.
A third Master Ball becomes available via a new Master Work Research line in the Catching Wonders event.
May Community Day is Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokémon!
At the start of each month in the World of Wonders season, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Wonder Ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research, and the introduction of Poipole into Pokémon GO.
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 18, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Tapu Fini, and Mega Alakazam in Mega Raids!
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Suicune! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Catching Wonders Event
The Catching Wonders Event brings with it a new Master Ball quest! It is available to collect between Tuesday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time is the third Master Ball Masterwork Research!
May Community Day
May Community Day takes place 19th May 2-5pm local time, and features Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokémon, with 1/4 hatch distance, and new move High Jump Kick for Tsareena evolved during the event.
Diancie Special Research: Glitz and Glam
Diancie makes their global debut in Pokémon GO via a free special research on May 1, 2024!
World of Wonders: Wonder Ticket
More wonders await this season with the Wonder Ticket! At the start of Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, Trainers will be able to purchase a new, three-part ticketed experience that includes Pokémon encounters, a new avatar item, and seasonal Timed Research! Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly! You’ll never know what wonders you may find.
GO Battle League Season 18
GO Battle League: World of Wonders will start on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Spotlight Hour
Tuesday May 14th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Abra as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x XP for evolving Pokémon.

Wednesday May 15th 6pm till 7pm local time Tapu Fini will appear in five-star raids.
Mega Raids
Mega Alakazam
From May 2 – May 16 Mega Alakazam will appear in Mega Raids.

From May 16 – May 23 Mega Gyarados will appear in Mega Raids.
Five-Star Raids
Tapu Fini
From May 2 – May 16 Tapu Fini will appear in five-star raids. It will know the special move Nature’s Madness during this time.

From May 16 – May 23 Regirock will appear in five-star raids.
Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Suicune will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during World of Wonders!

Season of World of Wonders: Bonuses
The following bonuses are specific to Season 14: World of Wonders:
- Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids with Friends.
- One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
- Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids
Research
Season of World of Wonders Research Breakthrough
- From March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o and Dubwool.
Season of World of Wonders Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
