Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 5th June, 2023, we have the Water Festival: Beach Week, Axew Community Day, and a special Beach Theme spotlight hour! All that in addition to the Lake Trio being available in Tier 5 Raids across the globe.

Water Festival: Beach Week
Water Festival: Beach Week takes place June 6, 2023 10:00am to June 12, 2023 8pm local time. Sandygast will make their debut in Pokémon GO, and Clauncher will be available shiny for the first time!
Axew Community Day
Axew Community Day Hype! On June 10th, 2023, Axew returns to Pokémon GO for a Community Day event. During the event, Axew will appear more frequently in the wild, and players will have a chance to encounter a shiny Axew.

GO Battle League Season 15
GO Battle League: Hidden Gems will start on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Spotlight Hour
Tuesday June 6th 6pm till 7pm local time we have a special Water Festival: Beach Theme spotlight hour with Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, Clauncher and Crabrawler as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 3× XP for catching Pokémon.
Raid Hour
Wednesday June 7th 6pm till 7pm local time Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit will appear in five-star raids in their respective regions. They can be shiny.
Five Star Raids
From June 1 to June 15 Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit will appear in five-star raids in their respective regions. They can be shiny.
- Uxie will appear in the Asia-Pacific region
- Azelf will appear in the Americas and Greenland
- Mesprit will appear in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India

Field Research
Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough
- From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.
Season of Hidden Gems Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
