The Growing Up event features a variety of 400 Candy evolution species in the wild and in Eggs, increased shiny chances, Toxel in 10km eggs, Mime Jr. going global, and so much more, Friday, May 2, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Crown Clash Event
Get excited to meet Kingambit in the Crown Clash event, along with Pokémon wearing crowns, increased shiny chances and more! From Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend
From Saturday, May 10, at 6:00 a.m. until Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. local time you have a full weekend to take on Dynamax Suicune and make the most of all the bonuses.
Pawmi Community Day
Pokémon GO’s May 2025 Community Day features Pawmi, the Mouse Pokémon! Pawmi Community Day takes place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Evolving Pawmo during the event will result in Pawmot knowing the exclusive charge attack Brick Break!
Spotlight Hour
On Tuesday, May 6th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Furfrou will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× candy for catching Pokémon!

New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your research tab.
Might and Mastery Power Up Ticket
Starting May 1, 2025, Trainers will be able to purchase the brand new Power Up Ticket for May in the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Season of Might and Mastery.
This ticket will help Trainers to get the most out of Season of Might and Mastery by granting bonuses such as one additional Candy XL awarded to Trainers level 31 and up for completing Raid Battles and Max Battles!
For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access bonuses and Timed Research opportunities throughout May.
GO Battle League Season 22
GO Battle League: Might and Mastery begins Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Might and Mastery, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
