Highlights:
- Max Out season finale event ends the season with the release of Galarian Corsola and shiny Regidrago and Regieleki
- Battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 20, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Zacian, Zamazenta, Regidrago and Regieleki, and Mega Altaria in Mega Raids!
- And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Suicune! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Max Out Finale Event
Galarian Corsola
The Max Out season finale brings with it the debut of Galarian Corsola! Plus shiny Regidrago and Regieleki are available for the first time in Pokémon GO. The event runs from Wednesday, November 27, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Max Out Season Special Research: Galar Calling
A new Special Research story ‘Galar Calling‘ with branching paths will be available to Trainers! Throughout Pokémon GO: Max Out, you’ll be able to reach new heights with your chosen partner Pokémon.
Depending on which partner Pokémon you choose, your Postcard Book background will change to celebrate your choice!
You can claim this Special Research at no cost from Tuesday, September 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
Daily Coin Bounty: Part Three
A new ticket will be available for the Daily Coin Bounty, starting Sunday, November 3, at 12:00 a.m. local time and ending Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time. There will be new ways to earn coins, plus special bonuses!
GO Battle League Season 20
GO Battle League: Max Out will commence on GO Battle League: Max Out will start on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Spotlight Hour
Joltik
Tuesday November 26th, 6 pm till 7 pm local time we have Joltik as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x XP for catching Pokémon!
Raids and Max Battles
Raid Hours
Wednesday November 27th 6pm till 7pm local time Zacian, Zamazenta, Regidrago and Regieleki will appear in five-star raids.
Mega Raids
From November 18 – November 27 Mega Beedrill and Mega Ampharos will appear in Mega Raids.
Mega Altaria
From November 27 – December 3 Mega Altaria will appear in Mega Raids.
Five-Star Raids
From November 18 – November 27 Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia will appear in Five-Star Raids.
From November 27 – December 3 Zacian, Zamazenta, Regidrago and Regieleki will appear in Five-Star Raids.
If you’re lucky, between November 18 at 10:00 am and November 24 11:59 pm local time Origin Forme Palkia and Origin Forme Dialga have a chance to know their signature Adventure Effect Attacks.
Shadow Raids
Shadow Suicune
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Suicune will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Max Out!
You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Suicune—if you’re lucky!

Season of Max Out
The following bonuses are specific to Max Out:
- Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak
- Increased XP and Stardust for a seven-day Pokémon catch streak
- Increased XP from going up a Friendship level
- One additional Candy when trading Pokémon
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon
Season of Max Out Research Breakthrough
- From September 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to December 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from the pool of Pokémon below:
Season of Max Out Field Research Tasks
Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
