Spotlight Hour: Lechonk
On Tuesday, August 26th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Lechonk will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× candy for transferring Pokémon!
Raid Hour: Necrozma
On Wednesday, August 27th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Necrozma will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!
Events in Pokémon GO This Week
Sunkissed Shores
Pokémon GO Sunkissed Shores event runs from August 25, 2025, to August 31, 2025. This event features the debut of Dondozo (and it can be shiny), along with some valuable raid Pokémon! Plus Visor Slakoth returns.
Rookidee Community Day
Pokémon GO’s August 2025 Community Day features Rookidee, the Tiny Bird Pokémon! Rookidee Community Day takes place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Evolving Corvisquire during the event will result in Corviknight knowing the exclusive charge attack Air Cutter [f.
Mega Gyarados Raid Day
Mega Gyarados features in Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Sunday, August 31st, 2025. Trainers can look forward to an increased chance to encounter Gyarados, up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporarily increased Remote Raid Pass limit.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Regirock will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Delightful Days! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Regirock—if you’re lucky!
Egg-pedition Access
Eggs-pedition Access returns during Delightful Days! Every month, Trainers will be able to purchase a ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research. Trainers will also receive an Incubator with their first PokéStop or Gym Photo Disc spin every day!
GO Battle League Season 23
GO Battle League: Delightful Days begins on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.
