Pokémon GO’s June 22-28 week sees us well into the season of Forever Forward! We end June on a high with a trio of events, Flying Taxi, a Team GO Rocket Takeover, and Mega Skamory raid day! Plus the weekly rotating Raid Hours, Spotlight Hour, Dynamax Battles and Mega Raids.

- Raid Boss Change (June 24): Kartana, Celesteela and Mega Pidgeot return to the raid pool
- Max Monday (June 22): Dynamax Hoothoot is featured in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- Spotlight Hour (June 25): Wingull is featured for Spotlight Hour from 6 PM to 7PM
- Raid Hour (June 24): Kartana and Celesteela are featured in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM. Kartana in the Northern Hemisphere, and Celesteela in the Southern Hemisphere.
- Flying Taxi (June 23-29): Squawkabilly debuts with different plumes available regionally, with a GO Pass and bird themed Pokémon featured
- Flying Taxi: Taken Over (June 25-29): Shadow Reshiram debuts along with new Team GO Rocket lineups, new Shadow Pokémon, Frustration removal, and GO Pass rewards
- Super Mega Skarmory Raid Day (June 27): Mega Skarmory debuts in a dedicated raid day 2-5pm
Max Monday: Dynamax Hoothoot
On Monday, June 22nd, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Hoothoot will appear in Max Battles! Dynamax Hoothoot will continue to appear from June 22 to June 28 in Max Battles.
Spotlight Hour: Wingull
On Thursday, June 25th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Wingull will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× stardust for catching Pokémon!.
Raid Hour: Kartana & Celesteela
On Wednesday, June 24th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Kartana and Celesteela will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour in their respective regions!

Flying Taxi

Squawkabilly makes its Pokémon GO debut during the Flying Taxi event, introducing four different plumage forms with regional availability. White Plumage and Yellow Plumage Squawkabilly will be available worldwide, while Green Plumage will appear in the Eastern Hemisphere and Blue Plumage will appear in the Western Hemisphere.
The Pokémon GO Flying Taxi event runs from Tuesday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, June 29, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Alongside Squawkabilly’s debut, Trainers can encounter featured -type Pokémon in the wild, complete event Field Research, challenge themed raids, and progress through the Flying Taxi GO Pass.
Flying Taxi: Taken Over

Shadow Reshiram makes its Pokémon GO debut during the Flying Taxi: Taken Over event, the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover running from Thursday, June 25, at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, June 29, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
During the event, Trainers can earn a Super Rocket Radar through the Flying Taxi GO Pass, track down Giovanni, and rescue Shadow Reshiram. Team GO Rocket Leaders and Grunts will also introduce updated lineups featuring new Shadow Pokémon, including Shadow Rookidee, Shadow Noibat, Shadow Seel, and Shadow Hoothoot.
Super Mega Skarmory Raid Day

Mega Skarmory debuts in Pokémon GO during a special Super Mega Raid Day event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can look forward to Mega Skarmory in Super Mega Raids, with the potential to be shiny (with boosted odds!), and up to five additional free raid passes for the day.

From June 17 to June 23, Necrozma will appear in Five-Star Raids.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Dialga will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Forever Forward! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Dialga—if you’re lucky!

Pokémon GO’s June 2026 GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including an encounter with Lugia, XP and Stardust bonuses, and a Timed Incubator!
Trainers can earn GO Points by completing Pass Tasks, unlock milestone rewards through ranking up, and access premium items by upgrading to the Deluxe version via the Pokémon GO Web Store.
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: June on Tuesday, June 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

GO Battle League: Memories in Motion begins Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PDT(GMT −7).
