Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 12th June, we have the end of the Water Festival: Beach Week, the Solstice Horizons event and Team GO Rocket takeover!
Water Festival: Beach Week
Water Festival: Beach Week takes place June 6, 2023 10:00am to June 12, 2023 8pm local time. Sandygast will make their debut in Pokémon GO, and Clauncher will be available shiny for the first time!
Solstice Horizons & Team GO Rocket Takeover
Taking place from June 16, 2023 from 10am to June 25, 2023, 8pm local time the Solstice Horizons and Team GO Rocket Takeover occurs! We’ll share more information as soon as we have it.
GO Battle League Season 15
GO Battle League: Hidden Gems will start on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Spotlight Hour
Binacle
Tuesday June 13th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Binacle as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2× candy for catching Pokémon.
Raid Hour
Wednesday June 14th 6pm till 7pm local time Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit will appear in five-star raids in their respective regions. They can be shiny.
Mega Raids
Swampert (Mega)
From June 1 to June 15 Mega Swampert will appear in Mega Raids.
Sceptile (Mega)
From June 15 to June 29 Mega Sceptile will appear in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
From June 1 to June 15 Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit will appear in five-star raids in their respective regions. They can be shiny.
- Uxie will appear in the Asia-Pacific region
- Azelf will appear in the Americas and Greenland
- Mesprit will appear in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India
Nihilego
From June 15 to June 29 Nihilego will appear in five-star raids and be available as shiny for the first time!
Shadow Raids
Articuno (Shadow)
Shadow Articuno will appear in Shadow Raids starting June 10th on weekends throughout June. It can be shiny!

Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough
- From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.
Season of Hidden Gems Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
