Water Festival 2022

Pokémon GO’s Water Festival returns for 2022 and brings the debuts of Lapras wearing a scarf, Dewpider, and Araquanid

Pokémon GO’s Water Festival continues throughout this week. Look out for a surge of Water type Pokémon from Thursday, May 12, 2022, to Friday, May 20, 2022. For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Binacle ✨!

Alola Geodude Community Day

On Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time Alolan Geodude will be appearing more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one! Check out our full blog post here for all the information you need, plus we have a speculative PvP analysis of Rollout.

Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!

Alola Region Special Research

Available to collect from April 12, 2022, to June 1, 2022

Throughout the Season of Alola, you’ll be able to complete different Special Research lines to learn about each of the islands in Alola. These Special Research lines will be available to collect until the Season ends on June 1! (*)

Alola Region special research quest line guides are available here:

If you complete them by June 1, 2022, you’ll unlock a bonus Special Research line at the end of the Season.

(*) These Special Research lines will be available to collect beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time on specified dates and ending on June 1, 2022, at 9:59 a.m. You can finish a research line anytime after you receive it.

Interlude Season GO Battle League

The GO Battle League’s Interlude Season will start on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT –8) and end on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT –8).

From Tuesday, May 10, 2022, to Wednesday, May 25, 2022 Mega Blastoise will be appearing in Mega Raids.
