Ring in the Lunar New Year from Tuesday, February 1, 2022, to Monday, February 7, 2022! We will share more information as soon as we have it.
Season 10 GO Battle League
GO Battle League Season 10 will start on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). Pokémon appearing in GO Battle League encounters will now be slightly easier to catch.
Between January 24 – February 7 the following leagues will be available:
- Ultra League
- UL Premier Classic
Spotlight Hour
Tuesday 1st February 6pm till 7pm local time we have Litleo as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2x XP for evolving Pokémon.
Raid Hour
Wednesday 2nd February 6pm till 7pm local time Regirock will be appearing in five-star raids.
January Research Breakthrough Encounters
From Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8) Onix will be the featured Pokemon in your research breakthrough box. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a shiny Onix.
February Research Breakthrough Encounters
From Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST to Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8), for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter a Shiny Espurr, if you’re lucky.
Mega Raids
From Friday, January 7, 2022, to Tuesday, February 1, 2022 Mega Aerodactyl will be making their Pokémon GO debut!
From Tuesday, February 1, 2022, to Tuesday, February 15, 2022 Mega Houndoom will be appearing in Mega raids.
Five Star Raids
From Monday, January 24, 2022, to Tuesday, February 1, 2022 Regice will be in 5-star raids.
From Tuesday, February 1, 2022, to Wednesday, February 9, 2022 Regirock will be in 5-star raids.
January Weekly 1 PokéCoin bundles
Every Monday in January, a one-time-purchase bundle containing a Remote Raid Pass and other items will be available in the shop for 1 PokéCoin.

February Timed Research Challenge
Trainers who purchase a ticket prior to February 10, 2022, will also receive access to the Season of Heritage’s Timed Research for February! Trainers who have purchased a GO Tour Ticket prior to February 10 must log in to Pokémon GO between February 1, 2022, and February 10, 2022, to receive the Timed Research. The February Timed Research featuring research tasks that reward a Noibat Hat Avatar Item and an encounter with Noibat.

Season of Heritage
Running from Wednesday, December 1st at 10:00 a.m. local time to Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time, the Season of Heritage is here! Trainers will embark on a journey inspired by the past as we run-up to the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto event.
