Crown Clash Event
Get excited to meet Kingambit in the Crown Clash event, along with Pokémon wearing crowns, increased shiny chances and more! From Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Crown Clash: Taken Over
Crown Clash: Taken Over is the next Team GO Rocket Takeover event that runs from May 14, 12:00 a.m. through May 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. During that time, Trainers will have the opportunity to remove Frustration, save Shadow Dialga, and face Rocket Grunts and Rocket Leaders who are using new Shadow Pokémon!
Shadow Regigigas Raid Weekend
Get ready to rescue Shadow Regigigas from Team GO Rocket in a dedicated raid day on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time! It can be shiny!

On Tuesday, May 13th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Sandygast will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× candy for transferring Pokémon!

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Regirock will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Might & Mastery! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Regirock—if you’re lucky!

New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your research tab.
Might and Mastery Power Up Ticket
Starting May 1, 2025, Trainers will be able to purchase the brand new Power Up Ticket for May in the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Season of Might and Mastery.
This ticket will help Trainers to get the most out of Season of Might and Mastery by granting bonuses such as one additional Candy XL awarded to Trainers level 31 and up for completing Raid Battles and Max Battles!
For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access bonuses and Timed Research opportunities throughout May.
GO Battle League Season 22
GO Battle League: Might and Mastery begins Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Might and Mastery, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
