GO Battle Week: Final Strike
Urshifu is coming to Pokémon GO, during the Final Strike GO Battle Week event, which takes place from Wednesday, May 21, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Alongside Urshifu, there are several featured Raid Bosses, the final stage of the Might & Mastery Season-Long Special Research unlocks, and more!
Machop Community Day Classic
May 2025 Community Day Classic features Machop, the Superpower Pokémon! Machop Community Day Classic takes place on Saturday, May 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day
Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day takes place on Sunday May 25, 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. local time! During the event, all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, and Power Spots will refresh more frequently. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Machamp capable of Gigantamaxing!
Spotlight Hour
On Tuesday, May 20th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Poochyena will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× XP for evolving Pokémon!

- Azelf will appear in the Americas and Greenland.
Five-Star Raids
From May 12 to May 25th, Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie will appear in the five-star raids.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Regirock will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Might & Mastery! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Regirock—if you’re lucky!

On Monday, May 19th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Sableye will appear in Max Battles.

Available to claim from Wednesday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time, you’ll encounter Dynamax Kubfu and more with this Season’s Special Research!
New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your research tab.
Might and Mastery Power Up Ticket
Starting May 1, 2025, Trainers will be able to purchase the brand new Power Up Ticket for May in the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Season of Might and Mastery.
This ticket will help Trainers to get the most out of Season of Might and Mastery by granting bonuses such as one additional Candy XL awarded to Trainers level 31 and up for completing Raid Battles and Max Battles!
For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access bonuses and Timed Research opportunities throughout May.
GO Battle League Season 22
GO Battle League: Might and Mastery begins Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Might and Mastery, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
