Pokémon Debuts

Eevee will make their debut wearing a special holiday hat! Evolve Eevee into all of their Eeveelutions to obtain them wearing a holiday hat too. (Eeveelutions will not be spawning in the wild and are obtainable only via evolution)

For the first time ever, trainers will also be able evolve their winter costume Cubchoo into Beartic for the first time!

Featured Attacks

Kyurem caught between December 23, 2022 at 10:00 to Sunday, January 1, 2023 10:00 local time, will know the special move Glaciate.

• Trainer Battles: 60 power. This move decreases your opponent’s attack stat when used.
• Gyms and raids: 160 power

Winter Wishes – Event-exclusive Timed Research

Winter Wishes is a special, event-exclusive, branching Timed Research will be available during the Pat II of Winter Holidays event. This Timed Research lets Trainers pick a path and a bonus for the event!

Bonuses to choose from will revolve around hatching eggs, Stardust, or catching Pokémon. No matter which bonus path you choose, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter Galarian Mr. Mime as a reward, along with other winter themed Pokémon.

A Lucky Exchange!

The number of guaranteed lucky Pokémon a trainer can receive has now been upped from 10, to 15! Starting now, if you trade a Pokémon that has been in a trainer’s storage since 2017, it is guaranteed to become lucky until the limit is reached.

This change is permanent and will remain active going forward.

Winter Wonderland Collection challenge

A winter collection challenge that rewards an encounter with Galarian Mr. Mime, and rewards XP and incense, will be available during this weekend event.
