Adventure Week 2024
Adventure Week 2024 brings with it an increased chance to encounter the following Shiny Pokémon: Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. Starting Friday, August 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time to Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time, there will also be special 7km event themed eggs!
Mega Rayquaza Raid Day Event
Due to issues affecting Elite Raids featuring Mega Rayquaza, a special global makeup event will be held for all Trainers on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm local time. Mega Rayquaza will be available in remote-friendly Mega Raids.
Adventure Week: Taken Over
Adventure Week Taken Over brings a new Special Research featuring Shadow Cresselia, a Shadow Raids weekend focused on Shadow Lugia, and a handful of new Shadow Pokémon in Raids and Grunt battles. Coming on August 8, 2024.
Pokémon GO World Championships 2024
The Pokémon World Championships celebrates Pokémon GO with an event running from 16th August to 20th August. Shiny Mienfoo debuts, along with a special themed costume Pikachu!
Beldum Community Day Classic
Beldum Community Day Classic takes place on August 18th, 2-5pm local time. Evolve to a Metagross that knows special Charged Attack Meteor Mash, and enjoy 1/4 hatch distance for eggs incubated during the event.
Triumph Together Event
The Triumph Together event takes place from August 23 – August 30, and brings with it three special Global Challenges that lead to encounters with the Team Leader themed costume Pokémon!
Popplio Community Day
Popplio
Pokémon GO’s Community Day August 2024 features Popplio, the Sea Lion Pokémon! Players have the chance to encounter Shiny Popplio in the wild. Popplio Community Day takes place on Saturday, August 31st, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Pokémon GO Raids August 2024
During August 2024, Moltres, Incarnate Forme Thundurus and Xerneas will be available during different time periods.
