Festival of Lights event takes place from October 14 to October 17, 2022, and brings Morelull and Shiinotic to the world of Pokémon GO. Keep an eye out for illuminating Pokémon, as some Pokémon will glow at nighttime during this event!

- Morelull and Shiinotic, the Illuminating Pokémon, make their Pokémon GO debut
- Event-themed stickers will be obtainable by spinning PokéStops, opening gifts, or purchasing from the in-game shop
New Pokémon
Morelull and Shiinotic, the Illuminating Pokémon, debut in Pokémon GO during the Festival of Lights event. Both are Fairy and Grass-type Pokémon, and you need 50 Morelull Candy to evolve Shiinotic.
Shiny Morelull and Shiinotic will not be released during the Festival of Lights event.
