Today Pokémon GO is 10 years old! It was officially released ten years ago on July 6, 2016, and what a decade of adventure it has been. To mark this milestone, Pokémon GO have shared this year’s anniversary artwork from Yusuke Kozaki (@kymg on X), the character designer for Pokémon GO.
This artwork references older anniversary artwork on the screens shown behind the characters, and shows Zeraora in the centre who debuts this weekend globally during GO Fest. While there isn’t too much teased in this image, we do think we spy Arceus beneath the Pikachu balloons foot!

So far in 2026 we have seen a revamp of the Mega Raid system with Super Mega Raids being introduced, what else could we see debut this year?! We don’t know just yet, but we know we are excited to see where the next 10 years could take us.
