Earth Day 2019 Rewards Event

Congratulations Trainers, YOU DID IT!

With the participation of over 14,000 individuals worldwide (more than double the 7,000 needed), the rewards for the Earth Day 2019 Event have been unlocked. However, more importantly, you all band together to help clean up the environment and make the world we live in a better place!

Remember, just because Earth Day 2019 has passed, doesn’t mean we can’t continue to do our best to help protect our planet!

Without further ado, our event information and guide are as follows:

Event Details

Diglett Family

Here’s an overview of the Diglett family in their normal and form. Although you will most likely NOT find or catch a shiny Alolan Diglett in the wild, we’ve included the sprites that will be shown in your Pokédex as a result of catching a shiny Kanto Diglett:

Increased Ground-Types

Below are some Ground – type Pokémon you may see spawning more frequently in the wild per the event. Note: this is not a full, or confirmed list, only some possibilities that may interest most.

Trapinch	In addition to these listed, those with an Alolan form, and possibly the inclusion of Evolved forms, may also be found.

Groudon in Raids/Raid Boss Shakeup

With this event, we will begin seeing Groudon showing up in raids as a Tier 5 raid boss. We can only assume, since it’s last release included the chance at it’s shiny variant, that we will see much of the same this go around. Conclusion

This event only lasts 3 DAYS so be sure to make the most of it while you can! Focusing on all aspects of the event may not be in the cards for everyone but perhaps you can take a little time each day to focus on what works best for you!
