Mega Gardevoir will appear in Mega Raids for the first time in Pokémon GO! Mega Gardevoir is a stunning Mega Pokémon, all dressed up to the nines, and perfect for Valentine’s Day. It looks amazing as a shiny, with a black ball gown, blue hair and orange accents.

New Shiny Pokémon
Frillish and Tapu Lele will make their shiny debut during this event! Both genders of Frillish have fantastic shinies, and Tapu Lele is another incredible black shiny for the Guardian Deity collection.

Furfrou Form Change Available
During the event, you’ll be able to form change Furfrou into the Heart Trim Furfrou!

To form change your Furfrou, you’ll need to follow these steps:
- Select a Furfrou from your storage, and tap the ‘form change’ button.
- This will open up a menu of available trims. During this event you will see the option for the Heart Trim.
- Select your preferred Trim
- It will cost 25 Candy and 10,000 stardust to change the trim.
Featured Attacks
Gardevoir and Gallade caught or evolved during the Valentine’s Day 2023 event will know the special Psychic type Charged Attack Synchronoise.
- Trainer Battles: 80 power.
- Gyms and raids: 80 power
Timed Research: Lovely Wishes
A special branching timed research will be available during the event, ‘Lovely Wishes’. Trainers will be given the choice of a wish for a bonus that is either additional catch XP, extra catch candy, or longer Daily Adventure Incense. The path you choose will determine which bonuses and tasks you get for the event.
Whichever branch you pick, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter both male and female Frillish.
- Choosing the ‘Catching Pokémon‘ wish grants 2x XP for catching Pokémon for the rest of the event.
- Choosing the ‘Pokémon Candy‘ wish grants 2x candy for catching Pokémon for the rest of the event.
- Choosing the ‘Using Daily Adventure Incense‘ wish grants an extra 15 minutes of Daily Adventure Incense a day, giving you a total of 30 minutes per incense.

A Global Valentine’s Challenge

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, a global challenge will take place. You’ll have to work together to send gifts to your friends around the world, and if enough trainers send gifts a bonus will be unlocked for the rest of the event!
