Pokémon GO December 2025 Community Day features all of the Community Day Pokémon from 2025. As in past years, two sets of Pokémon will be featured each day of the two-day Community Day!
December Community Day takes place on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 and Sunday, December 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Well Armed
Clobbopus and Grapploct debut during the Pokémon GO’s Well Armed event that runs from December 11 to December 16, 2025. The event features global challenges, and has boosted odds for encountering Shiny Dynamax Hitmonchan and Shiny Dynamax Hitmonlee!
Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day
A Gigantamax Snorlax blocks your path! Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day takes place on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time!
During the event, all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, and Power Spots will refresh more frequently. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Snorlax capable of Gigantamaxing.
Winter Holiday 2025 Part 1
Pokémon GO’s Winter Holiday Part 2025 1 runs from Thursday, December 18, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Celebrate the season with costume Charjabug and Sudowoodo, bonus rewards, and increased shiny chances, all wrapped in festive spirit!
Celestial Research Day
Pokémon GO Celestial Research Day 2025 takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
This limited-time event features Lunatone and Solrock, two cosmic Pokémon with boosted shiny odds, special Field Research tasks, and a Paid Timed Research for even more encounters.
Winter Holidays Part 2
Pokémon GO’s Winter Holiday Part 2025 2 runs from Wednesday, December 24, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, December 29, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Celebrate the season with new Pokémon debuts, bonus rewards, and increased shiny chances, plus a special Winter Weekend! Rolycoly will debut, and there is an increased chance to encounter Shiny Stantler wearing a holiday outfit and Shiny Dedenne wearing holiday attire.
Winter Weekend
From Saturday, December 27, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time there will be a special Winter Weekend! There will be a free Timed Research opportunity available during the event, with increased chances to encounter Shiny Eevee wearing a holiday hat from Timed Research tasks.
New Year 2026
The New Year 2026 event brings the new year in with fireworks and style! Enjoy boosted Shiny odds for Party Top Hat Pikachu, and Costume Pokémon in the wild! Enjoy 2× XP and Stardust from raids, in-game fireworks, and increased guaranteed Lucky Pokémon!
Research Breakthrough
Complete Field Research to unlock Research Breakthrough encounters with one of the following Pokémon. These Pokémon will appear as Research Breakthrough Rewards from December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to March 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
