Pokémon GO March 2023 event information is here! After the hype of Hoenn Tour in February, March looks to be another busy month with new Shiny Pokémon, new Mega Pokémon, events galore and more!
March also marks the start of Pokémon GO Season 10: Rising Heroes! Rising Heroes lasts from March 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. During the Season of Rising Heroes, Trainers can look forward to catching Gimmighoul, encounter all Pokémon in their XXS and XXL sizes, battle with Regieleki and Regidrago, and encounter a Melmetal that knows the Double Iron Bash Charged Attack.
GO Battle League Season 14 (Rising Heroes) also runs alongside the Season of Rising Heroes, bringing new GBL Cups, new moves for select Pokémon, and new rank up rewards. Read more about GO Battle League Season 14 here.

Catch Mastery Event
On March 5, 2023 10:00am to 8:00pm local time a special Hitmon-themed Catch Mastery Event will take place! Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan will appear more frequently in the wild, with an increased chance of encountering shiny Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Hitmontop (in field research only), with Tyrogue hatching from 7km eggs. There will be 2x XP for making nice, great and excellent and curve ball throws!
Festival of Colors
From March 8 to March 14, 2023 from 10am to 8pm local time celebrate the Festival of Colors! Mega Medicham and Bruxish will make their debut, and shiny Smeargle makes a return for the event only!
Elite Raids
On March 11, 2023 at 11:00am, 2pm and 5pm local time new Elite Raids will take place! Gather your companions and prepare for the return of Elite Raids. Elite Raids are a challenging type of Raid Battle that Trainers take on in-person. Challenge the Raid Boss Regidrago in Elite Raids for the only opportunities to catch these Legendary Pokémon this Season!
March Community Day
On March 18, 2023 2 P.M to 5 P.M local time March Community Day will occur, with both Kanto and Galarian Slowpoke featured.
Let’s GO Event
From Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00am, to Wednesday March 29, 2023 at 8:00pm local time the Let’s GO Event takes place, starring Ditto, Meltan, and global spawns of Pansear, Pansage and Panpour!
