It’s time to celebrate Pokémon Sleep’s first anniversary! A special two-week event is a will be held to celebrate the first anniversary of Pokémon Sleep’s global release.
In addition to the arrival of Pokémon from the Paldea region—such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly—there will also be various other bonuses, such as one Pokémon for sure arriving hungry and the opportunity to use Mini Candy Boost.
Also, limited-time Dream Gifts will appear each day next to Snorlax during this event. You’ll see what’s inside the Dream Gifts when you open them!
You can complete limited-time missions the first week to get rewards such as Pokémon incense for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, and Pokémon candies for the second week’s missions.
On top of all that, there will be announcements of new information about Pokémon Sleep every day for the first week of the First Anniversary Fest!

The following effects will trigger in the applicable areas during the event:
All Days (15th July to 28th July)
- A few Pokémon of different sleep types will appear during sleep research regardless of your sleep type for that day.
- Research EXP from sleep research will be multiplied by 1.5.
- A limited-time Dream Gift can be received each day.
Week 1 (15th July to 21st July)
- A week when you can befriend lots of helper Pokémon!
- During sleep research, one Pokémon will for sure arrive hungry (once per day).
- The chance of each helper Pokémon’s main skill triggering will be multiplied by 1.5.
- Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
Week 2 (22nd July to 28th July)
- A week when you can raise lots of helper Pokémon!
- The number of candies gained through sleep research will be multiplied by 1.5 (once per day).
- Final Strength gains from dishes will be multiplied by 1.5 (or 3 for Extra Tasty dishes or 4.5 for Extra Tasty dishes on Sunday only).
- Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
- The limited-time function Mini Candy Boost will be available.
There have been reports of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and their evolutions appearing near certain areas—maybe this is thanks to the sleep research you’ve all been conducting!

These new Pokémon will appear beginning July 15, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
Note: Pokémon Incense for the new arrivals can be used starting from the date and time above.
They will appear at the following research areas:
- Greengrass Isle: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
- Cyan Beach: Fuecoco, Crocalor, Skeledirge, Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval.
- Taupe Hollow: Fuecoco, Crocalor, and Skeledirge.
- Lapis Lakeside: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval.
They will have the following Sleep Styles:
- Dozing: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, and Skeledirge.
- Snoozing: Fuecoco and Crocalor.
- Slumbering: Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval.
Sprigatito will collect the Grass type Durin Berry, and has the ability Cooking Power-Up S which gives your pot room for 7 more ingredients next time you cook. It can collect Soft Potato, Moomoo Milk and Warming Ginger for ingredients.
Fueoco will collect the Fire type Leppa Berry, and has the ability Charge Energy S which restores 12 Energy to the user. It can collect Fancy Apple, Bean Sausage and Fiery Herb for ingredients.
Quaxly will collect the Water type Oran Berry, and has the ability Charge Strength M which increases Snorlax’s Strength by 880. It can collect Greengrass Soybeans, Large Leek and Pure Oil for ingredients.
The following Pokémon are more likely to appear during this event:
Greater Appearance Rate
- Week 1: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
- Week 2: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Fuecoco, Crocalor, Skeledirge, Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval.
Greater appearance rates apply only to the areas where each Pokémon appears.
- Greengrass Isle: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
- Cyan Beach: Fuecoco, Crocalor, Skeledirge, Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval.

A limited-time Dream Gift will appear by Snorlax’s side each morning during the event in all areas. You can get various rewards by tapping the gift once per day.
The lineup of gifts is the same for all researchers. Each day, the contents of the Dream Gift will be chosen randomly from the lineup. That means that all researchers who log in every day during the event will get all the same rewards by the end:

Mini Candy Boost uses fewer Dream Shards than the regular Candy Boost function, so this limited-time function can be easily used even by researchers who just began playing Pokémon Sleep.
Using Mini Candy Boost lets your helper Pokémon get twice the usual amount of EXP from candies in exchange for using four times the usual amount of Dream Shards per candy. This function can be used with up to 50 candies per day.
This function will be set to ON by default. You can freely toggle this function ON or OFF by tapping the button in the upper right of the Level Up screen.
Feel free to use Mini Candy Boost when you want to level up your helper Pokémon!
Pokémon Befriending Bundles
To commemorate the new Pokémon arrivals—including Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly—Pokémon Befriending Bundle (Sprigatito) Vol. 1, Pokémon Befriending Bundle (Fuecoco) Vol. 1, and Pokémon Befriending Bundle (Quaxly) Vol. 1 will be available beginning 15th July 07:00.
New bundles of items have been prepared that can help you befriend and raise Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Between them, these bundles include Pokémon incense and candies for these three newly arriving Pokémon.
You can encounter Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly by setting their incense in the areas where they appear!

Sprigatito Incense gives off a scent that Sprigatito love. If you set it before sleeping, Sprigatito will appear for sure during your next sleep research. The other incenses work the same way—if you set one before sleeping, that particular Pokémon will appear for sure during your next sleep research!

Ultra Biscuits can be used during snack time, and giving one to a Pokémon will raise that Pokémon’s friendship points by 5.

Note: It cannot be used if all of the Pokémon’s unlocked sub skills are at max level or if the Pokémon already has the higher quality version of the same skill.
A Main Skill Seed will raise a Pokémon’s main skill level by one.
Growth Incense is an item that doubles the EXP your helper Pokémon gain during sleep research.
Give it a try when you’d like to raise your helper Pokémon.
Luck Incense is an item that doubles the number of Dream Shards gained from sleep research.
You can set up your incense on the stump by your tent or via the pop-up that appears when you tap the Sleep button.
- [Important] Each day of the First Anniversary Fest rolls over at 4:00 a.m.
- Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked during the event.
- If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event began and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
- If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
- Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
- The effects of incense stack with event effects. If you use Focus Incense during the event, Research EXP gains will be multiplied by 3 (×1.5 from the event bonus and ×2 from the Focus Incense bonus).
- You won’t be able to use the limited-time Mini Candy Boost function after the event ends. If Mini Candy Boost is available again during another event, the amount of EXP gained, Dream Shard consumption, and/or the number of candies that can be used in one day may change.
- You can’t get the limited-time Dream Gifts by logging in after the event ends.
- Items from Dream Gifts that are sent to your Gift Box have expiration dates, and you won’t be able to receive them after they’ve expired.
- Dream Gifts may be given out again sometime in the future. If they are, details such as their contents and availability period may change.
