February brings with it many exciting events, including Pokémon GO Tour: Johto, a Hoppip Community Day, the Valentine’s Day 2022 event, Extra Raid Passes, and more!
Pokémon GO Tour: Johto
On Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Pokémon GO Tour: Johto will be live! In addition to the free experience, Trainers can purchase a ticket for the exclusive ticketed experience.
Celebrate Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver in a whole new way! In the ticketed version of Pokémon GO Tour: Johto, Trainers will choose between the Gold Version and Silver Version event experiences, each with version-exclusive Pokémon! Complete event-exclusive Special Research, and test your Pokémon-collection skills to receive an encounter with Celebi that knows a special attack. Trading with a friend who chose the other version will be important, just like it was in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver!
Trainers who purchase a ticket prior to February 10, 2022, will also receive access to the Season of Heritage’s Timed Research for February! Trainers who have purchased a GO Tour Ticket prior to February 10 must log in to Pokémon GO between February 1, 2022, and February 10, 2022, to receive the Timed Research.
February Community Day
Join us for Community Day on Saturday, February 12, 2022! During the event, Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokémon, will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

February Research Breakthrough Encounters
From Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST to Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8), for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter a Shiny Espurr, if you’re lucky. It is a gorgeous pale pink, and the evolved form has different versions for male and female that are so pretty!

The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids throughout February:
Five-Star Raids
Regirock and Registeel will be returning to five-star raids this February! Regirock caught during this time will know the attack Earthquake. Registeel caught during this time will know the attack Zap Cannon.
We’re also excited to announce that Deoxys will be returning to raids in February! And that’s not all: for the first time ever, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Normal Forme Deoxys, Shiny Attack Forme Deoxys, Shiny Defense Forme Deoxys, and Shiny Speed Forme Deoxys!
In celebration, from Wednesday, February 16, 2022, to March 1, 2022, you’ll be able to receive up to two free Raid Passes per day from spinning Gym Photo Discs!
Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, and Ho-Oh will also be returning to five-star raids for Pokémon GO Tour: Johto on February 26.
