Steel Skyline Event
The Steel Skyline event runs from September 30, 2025, to October 7, 2025, and features the debut of Duraludon, and it can be shiny! Plus Steel type Pokémon feature as wild spawns and more.
Mega Metagross Raid Day
Mega Metagross finally debuts in Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. Trainers can look forward to an increased chance to encounter shiny Metagross, up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporarily increased Remote Raid Pass limit.
Harvest Festival
Pokémon GO’s Harvest Festival 2025 event runs from October 10, 2025, to October 16, 2025, and features the debut of Dipplin and Hydrapple, and plus boosted shiny odds for Pumpkaboo and Smoliv!
Pokémon Legends: Z-A Celebration Event
To celebrate the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Pokémon GO is hosting a special limited-time event from October 16, 2025 to October 20, 2025. Enjoy boosted Mega Raids and adventure with your Lumiose City First Partner Pokémon: Chikorita, Totodile or Cyndaquil.
Mega Rayquaza Raid Day
Mega Rayquaza descends from the skies in Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM local time. Trainers can look forward to an increased chance to encounter shiny Rayquaza, up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporarily increased Remote Raid Pass limit.
Halloween 2025 Part One
Pokémon GO’s Halloween 2025 Part One event runs from October 21, 2025, to October 27, 2025, and features the debut of Poltchageist and Sinistcha, and debut of shiny Sinistea!
GO Pass: Halloween 2025 will also be available, with different catch Candy bonuses unlocked with every Tier. This year, you will have to progress the GO Pass in order to activate 2x Candy for yourself.
Halloween 2025 Part Two
Pokémon GO’s Halloween 2025 Part Two event runs from October 27, 2025, to November 2, 2025, and features the debut of Teddiursa wearing a witch hat and Noibat wearing a headband, and plus the an increased chance of encountering shiny Teddiursa and Noibat!
GO Battle Weekend: Tales of Transformation
A GO Battle Weekend: Tales of Transformation is coming to Pokémon GO, which takes place from Saturday, October 25, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Great League and Halloween Cup will be available, along with Clemont inspired glasses for your avatar.
Research Breakthrough
Complete Field Research to unlock Research Breakthrough encounters with one of the following Pokémon. These Pokémon will appear as Research Breakthrough Rewards from September 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time
